Art Unmuted Exhibition in Dubai

My name is Jasmine Melamed, and Iʼm a 16-year-old high school student with a lifelong passion for art. Growing up immersed in the art world through my father, I was introduced early on to the power of creativity and self-expression. Art has always been more than just something I enjoy, tʼs a language Iʼve grown up speaking, a way of understanding people, cultures, and emotions that canʼt always be put into words. Iʼve spent much of my life surrounded by artists, exhibitions, and creative conversations, and that environment shaped how I see the world: as a place full of stories waiting to be told through color, form, and movement. This project is deeply personal to me because it reflects what I care about most: giving a voice to artists who might not otherwise have the chance to share their stories. I believe that art should be accessible, inclusive, and representative of all experiences, not just those already in the spotlight. Through this project, I hope to create a space where artists can be seen and heard, where their work can inspire others, and where creativity can connect people beyond boundaries of age, background, or culture. Even as a student, I want to use what I have, my passion and platform, to make a difference in how art is shared and appreciated today.
