Shiva Babaei (b. 1981, Gilan Province, Iran) is a visual artist whose practice encompasses painting, drawing, and mixed media. She holds a B.A. in Painting from Soore University of Art and an M.A. in Painting from the University of Tehran, where she developed both her technical precision and conceptual depth.
Working across acrylic, oil, and ink, Babaei’s art navigates the space between traditional craftsmanship and experimental process. Her works form a dialogue between personal experience and collective memory, often grounded in her observations of everyday life and the natural environment.
